Ungroup/group grayed out

Ungroup is grayed out, and Group is not even there when I call up
documents I created a while back before my hard drive had to be
reformatted.

A month ago, computer problems forced me to reformat the hard drive. I
had all my documents saved. I reloaded MSWord 2000, and moved all the
documents from the backup drive back to the C: drive.

Now, when I call up some documents that have simple grouping in them,
the group and ungroup are usually not there.

The items grouped are mostly just text boxes or inserted .jpg items.

Have you double-click the Draw button in Drawing Toolbar. The options are
just there, what you need is to double-click the Draw button.

If that doesn't solve the problem then in the Drawing Toolbar there is a
button called "More Button" to customize the toolbar. Click that button and
then click Reset Toolbar.
