Ungroup option greyed out when I try & ungroup graphics group

Hi,
I've grouped together some text boxes & lines and now I want to move them
around... but when I right-click on the group and go to the Grouping menu,
the Ungroup option is greyed out... How do I ungroup them? Why is it doing
this?

Which version of Word?

Are you certain you've selected only valid things that can be grouped?

I've been experiencing this problem for a LONG time. It's good to know that
I'm not alone ;-) I consider myself an expert user and can't figure it out.
Yes, I've selected all graphics. In my simplest example, I have boxes inside
a large box, all grouped together. When I want to cut one of the boxes inside
the larger box, I can't because I can't ungroup the objects.

I have got the same prolem! my computer has only started to do it recently
and i hav no idea why!
