unhide a column

I used Edit->hide column to hide a column but then I could not find a corresponding "unhide" command when I wanted to bring it back. I tried click around the column and also selected adjacent columns but could not find a way to bring it back. I I used Insert->column to add it again but then I lost the title I set up and the formatting. Is there a specific "unhide" column command ? Do I have to create my own "entry" table view to get the original column back
Thanks

You didn't mention what version of Project you are using. My answer refers
to Project 2000. You can drag the column separator and unhide a hidden field
if you hide it that way. To save the column header, you can save it using
Tools-Customize-Fields.

I'm using Project 2002. I do have the column (field) savel. If I hide it by the drag method then I can recover it with the drap method. However, if I use edit->hide column I can't.
Thanks

Best to just create a table and view based on that table that has the
columns you want and another for just playing around.
If the title of the column is important to you it is best to customize the
column (right click on the header then select customize) and rename the
field rather than supplying a title. Once you have renamed you can use the
new name of the field in things like filters and barstyles more easily.

See the faq item on hidden columns. http://mvps.org/project
