Unhide Columns

Christine

I've read several posts about this topic but non of them seem to answer my
question. I'm very new to Project and now realize I hide my columns
incorrectly. I understand that a better way of handling columns is to create
Multiple Tables so you simply swap Tables when you want different information
displayed.

But what if I've already hidden a column and need to get it back. Is there
anyway to do that?

I hid a column called % Complete and can't get it back. I've checked and the
column is not set to a width of 0.

Is there anyway to get my % complete column back?

Thanks,

Christine

Simply go to the insert menu and re-insert it.

"hide column" should really be called "delete column from current table"
because that is what it does.

But some users are worried that when they "delete" a column that the data
that the column displays will be deleted too (like it would be in Excel), so
they called it "Hide" instead.

Columns in Project just display information. They do not really "contain" it
so you can insert and delete them at will.
