Unhide Menu Bar

Even when pressing the shift key at start-up, I don;t seem
to be able to unhide the general menu bar...I must have
checked off an unwanted option in the "database startup"
menu from Access 2000.
Would anyone know if there's still any hope?

Right-click anywhere on a toolbar; from the pop-up menu, select "Toolbars -
Customize". On the Toolbars tab, click the checkbox next to Menu Bar.
