unhide rows

Todd

Hi,

I have worksheets that have hidden rows I can't unhide. I
can move the active cell into the first 4 rows of the
sheet but the screen dose not roll up? Can I unhide
them? How did they get hidden like that anyway!

TIA

Try Window / Unfreeze panes, or, it may be that they are not actually hidden, but are in fact very
small. Do Edit / Go To / A1:A4 and then do Format / Rows / Height / 25

If you can move into these rows, they're not hidden. Two things to check: what
are their row heights, and do you have frozen panes with the topmost rows off
screen. To check the former, move into one of these problem rows, then issue the
menu command Format > Row > Height. What does it show? If it's less than 1, make
it 13 to start with then adjust as needed. To check the latter, open the Window
menu. If there's an 'Unfreeze Panes' entry, select it.

Make sure you have highlighted (selected) the row before and the row after
the hidden row(s) and then select unhide. Also make sure it is not a
password protected worksheet.
