uniform button across multiple pages

I am creating a multiple paged document and at the moment have a button on
every page that when double clicked on goes back to the front page. Is there
a way to have just one button say on my background page that will do this
job, to make things easier when adding new pages? I am using visio 2000 but
if it is possible to do something like this or similar in a newer version
that info will also be helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Hmmm, hyperlinks on shapes on background pages don't show or work.
Um, I don't know of any way to do this.

If you use Visio 2007 the macro recorder can automate the process of
inserting a shape with a hyperlink to page 1? Once it has been created for
the drawing it can be launched on each new page creating the object and link.
Note you can use the trial version to see if the product meets your
requirements.
