Uninstall 2003 after 2007 Upgrade

I have installed Office 2007 upgrade and notice that I still have 456 MB
worth of Office 2003 files on my system. Can I safely uninstall the 2003
files?

If you truly upgraded Office, it maybe that the versions didnt match and as
such you still have Office 2003 components remaining that werent included in
the 2007 upgrade
So what version was the 2003 & what version was the 2007?

If you are getting 456mb from Add/remove dialogue that size is only a
guestimate

Was this prob ever resolved? If so, what did you do? I am having the same
problem and am not sure what to do.

Thanks for your response DL. My 2007 version is (12.0.6311.5000) SP1 MSO
(12.0.6320.5000).

I am out of the country for another 4 weeks so I can't check my Office 2003
disks to see what version I had there. I am not aware if I could get this
from my laptop now.

Thanks.

Hi Jesica,

I haven't yet resoved the problem. I've gotten a post from DL which I just
found out a bit and sent some more info. I will see if I get a further
response. I'll let you know.

Thanks Jessica. I take it that this utility got rid of your redundant office
2003 files.

I will try it when I return back to my home base in case there are any
glitches. I don't have any of the original software with me.

It did get rid of them. Let me know if you have any trouble and I'll do what
I can to help.
