Uninstall Disc 2 Office 2000 Small Business

I am trying to uninstall Office 2000 Small Business on my
Win 98 desktop. I an unable to uninstall disc 2. I have
tried the unistall utility download from microsoft to no
avail. Everytime I go through control panel, add/remove
programs and select disc 2 to uninstall the program stops
responding. Any ideas?
