uninstall file

Janet

Hi; I am trying to uninstall Office 97 from a computer but
the computer says I need the file D:\RNSCLN97.OPC, as the
only CD I have is an upgrade. How can I get this file to
uninstall as I want to install Office 2000. If I can get
it through the internet, can I save it on disk and
download it on to the other computer which is not on the
internet?? Thanks

If Off2K is an upgrade theres no need to install the qualifying app. You
start the install of Off2k, when it complains it cannot find Q.product,
insert Q.product cd ,once verified continue the install of Off2k.

Hi Janet,

If you install Office 2000 it should remove Office 97
for you. Choose the custom installation choice in Office 2000.
