uninstall office 2000 professional

I purchased a used laptop running windows 2000with windows
2000 professional but no CD. I have office 2000 standard
CD. How can I remove the Professional version in order to
get updates?

Does the laptop have Office 2000 Professional or Office

Hi Rick,

If the installation isn't damaged you should be able
to use Add/Remove in the Windows control panel to
remove Office 2000 Professional Edition. This article
