Uninstall Office 2002, and install Outlook 2000??

Our company uses Groupwise for email, calendar, etc, but
some of us have IPAQs with PocketPC. In an effort to make
our handhelds more useful, we want to sync with Outlook.
Outlook 2000 would cooperate better with Groupwise than the
2002 version. I want to go back to my 2000 version. I
uninstalled Office XP, but when I install Outlook 2000,
there must be some remnants of Office XP still there, since
I do not have to reconfigure my email, etc. I found a
clean up program, but it does not run under WinXP. Any ideas??
