Recently, Windows 2000 crashed. I was able to disable a driver and get a
partially operational system. I then used PC Relocator to write all data and
applications to an intermediate hard drive, installed windows 2000 on a new
hard drive, and used PC Relocator to import the data and applications.
Apearantly, not all necessary files were imported for Office 2000. Word works
OK, but none of the other applications will load. I tried to reinstall office
from the CD, but get a message saying that the source files cannot be found.
I tried to use the add/remove programs in control panel to either change or
uninstall office and get the same message. I have run listool to rebuild the
msocache, but it has no effect. I still have the original drive, so, I could
add it as a second drive and transfer any missing files. Any ideas as to what
could be wrong, or how I can remove office and reinstall it?
