Uninstall Office 2007, reformat HDD, and re-install using the same license?

I need to format my HDD to get rid of viruses, so I need to ask this.

Can I uninstall Office Home and Student 2007, then later re-install on
the same machine after I have re-formatted and re-installed Windows XP
MCE?

_I_don't_want_to_end_up_wasting_one_of_my_three_\"licenses\"_when_re-installing.__

Does it free-up another install when I uninstall it, or what?

I appreciate any help.

Formatting your HD to get rid of viruses is like burning down your
house to get rid of cockroaches. The minute you rebuild the roaches
will be back in your new house and so will your viruses in your new
installation. Do a scan and get rid of them.

What are you using for a virus scanner? What for malware scanning?

I am using
System Mechanic Professional 6 which comes with Kaspersky Anti Virus
Personal and Kaspersky Anti-Hacker. Also using DaimondCS ProcessGaurd.

I have ran virus scans several times and it found nothing. I also tried
UnHackMe to get rid of rootkits, but it's not a rootkit.

I would rather reformat my hard drive to eliminate all traces of
viruses, then install some (more) security/anti-malware programs
*before* connecting to the internet again.
Which programs would you recommend I use?

Besides, I am thinking about re-partitioning my HDD so that I can
install other OS's or a "recovery" installation. My OS disk is an OEM
one so it doesn't have recovery console.

-I would like to know anyway, just incase I end up being *forced* to
reformat in the future...-

So WHY do you think you have a virus?

Kaspersky is rated VERY good. I use AVG free for Viruses, I don't
think it's any better than Kaspersky. I use Spybot S&D for other
malware and Ad-Aware as an additional malware scanner.

There are on-line scans you can use if you think Kaspersky is missing
something, I've had good results with Panda here:
http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan There are other online
scans, Google will find them for you.

You can re-partition w/o formatting or losing anything. You can't do
it with Windows but aftermarket software will do so. I use Partition
Commander, others like Partition Magic and there are others.
