Uninstall Office 2007 S&T Trial from new compter

New laptop (Vista SP1) with Office 2007 Student & Teacher pre-installed. This
has not been activated and remove programs show Office and Activation
Assistant available for removal.

I assume both need to be removed so what is the proper procedure to
uninstall without problems? What order, or special techniques if any?

I do intend on installing my own copy of Office 2003 S&T after succesful
removal of 2007.

I don't think it would really matter. I'd probably dump the activation asst

across the net with people having issues with removing the Trial version of
Office 2007.

My new computers did not come with the trial version (thank heavens!) so I
have no personal experience.

I have not yet done anything and would hope Add/Remove would do the job when
I get around to trying. Otherwise, your suggestion is noted.

I've yet to see an Add/Remove that removes ALL registry settings and files.
I'll try Add/Remove, then go hunting thru the registry.
