Uninstall Office 2008 trial version

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Thirty days ago I decided to try out the new 2008 Office trial version. I've tried it and decided to stay with the older version that I have already installed. I want to uninstall the trial version without uninstalling the older version that is still installed an working properly.
When I go into finder and applications, it only shows me the 2008 trial version, so I am reluctant to delete that one because I'm afraid that the older version will be uninstalled with it.

Please help.

Inside the Microsoft Office 2008 folder, you should find a folder called
"Additional Tools". Said folder contains another folder called "Remove
Office", which is where you'll find the right application to remove Office
properly. Run this application, and it will show you the copies of Microsoft
Office that are on your hard disk. You can then choose to remove Office 2008
only while leaving your copy of Office 2004 intact. By the way, your old
Entourage database won't be affected by this process, either, just in case
you also happen to use Entourage.

It is expected the job seekers will have done a reasonable amount of
research into the employers. Some basic information about an employer
should be collected first before applying the organization's
positions, including full name, locations, web site, business
description, year established, revenues, number of employees, stock
price if public, name of chief executive officer, major products or
services, major competitors, strength as well as challenges.

This is not a problem at all and it will be solved within a minute if you seek help from supportonclick.com.Recently I have set up a newer version of MS Office and gone through almost the same problem. It was that site who helped me to get out of this problem.

Solicit for your paid support service elsewhere. This is where users can
obtain the support they need without having to purchase it -- especially
since most of the assistance needed is not all that "technical" in the first
place... being reminded of the Remove Office utility supplied with the
Office software hardly justifies a $23 fee.

I am not certain of the total impact of uninstalling the Intel 2008
version. Will I be able to open the various files created in this
version. So far, it seems folks can not read my files making me
suspicious. Is there some batch way of converting the files to (for
instance) doc from current docx?

If "folks" can't open the files it's most likely because they haven't kept
their software updated and/or have not installed the free Open XML
converters available for pre-2007/2008 Office... Or they're using *very* old
versions of Office. It may also be a matter of how the file is being
delivered to them, but you make no mention of that.

Should you decide to remove the trial version you should install the
Converters yourself. You can "convert" the .docx files to .doc but I'd
suggest that you not do so. Keep in mind that the Converters don't turn
Office 2004 into Office 2008, so there's bound to be some degree of impact
on the files if you do. How much of an effect depends on what features of
2008 you've used in the documents.

The converters can be obtained here:
