Uninstall Office

Question: How can I uninstall MS Office Enterprise on a desktop I will be
getting rid of so I can re-install it on the new computer I plan on buying?

Background: I have MS Office Enterprise 2007 on currently installed on four
machines but had to re-install it on two of those machines for a total of 6
installs. On the six install I had problems activating because it had gone
over the 5 license limit and had to contact MS to get a non-commercial
product key.

As any normal application. Control Panel-Uninstall.....
Why would you think it to be any different?

Re-installing on the same machine is NOT an "additional" install and does
NOT "use up" an additional licence.

see above. I suspect the "problem" you had was trying to re-activate too
soon after the initial activation. Telephone activation would have (usually)
solved the problem...
and had to contact MS to get a non-commercial
product key.

Eh?

I understand that using the control panel is the normal way to uninstall any
application. That is only part of what the question asked. I also need to
somehow release the license when I uninstall.

I had to re-install on the same two machines for various reason's but indeed
it is a new install / activation. Each activation has come several months
apart, but it does seem to keep track of how many activations you have
accomplished.

Telephone activation is what was accomplished on the sixth install and they
gave me a key that when any Office product is launched, the title bar
displays "non-commercial use".

There's no provision for this; you simply uninstall on one PC, install on
another and call in to get a key if the online activation fails.

Might you have had a trial or home/student edition installed?
