uninstall project server

Hey guies I know I mess up my instillation and I wanted to do a clean
install, so I was trying to uninstall and something happened.


I could not uninstall thing.
I tried to remove form add and remove programs... Attempt failed
Then
I manually deleted the shortcut, deleted the location of files.
And then tried to uninstall. In vain. Downloaded some regedit software
and cleared all the search results I got for project server.
After doing this the instance in add and remove programs is no more.
Then deleted form my system all the instances.
But still am not able to reinstall project serve. This is a test
server. So I can format but it is a pain in.... for going in all the
installation.
It has share point serve also. Any relevant suggestion is great.

There is no uninstall of MS Project Server. Basically re-install from
scratch, as in start from "format the hard drive". And then do yuourself a
favor and back up the clean image so you can restore to this point if you
should goof again.

Now, this applies to the IIS server only.

Assuming you have a *seperate* SQL server, you do not need to rebuild SQL
server. Just delete 3 databases on SQL: (these are default names)
"ProjectServer", "STS_yourservername_1" and "WSSConfigDB".

Did you wipe out the hard drive and re-install the operating system? You
need to do this. Start from scratch.

Using Add/Remove programs will work provided you haven't "messed up" your
installation is a way that prevents this, too, from working. If you start
deleting pieces of the installation before you try this, it can render
uninstall useless. Otherwise, removing the program using Add/Remove programs
and then cleaning up SQL should give you a clean uninstall.

thanks, for ur suggesstion , i tried all of those . but even now i am
not abelto reinstall the pserver.
