uninstall question

I need to move Office XP from C drive to E because C drive
has gotten too full.

If I uninstall Office XP from the C:

a. Will I lose my authentication

b. Will it give me the option of installing it to E
instead of C

Yes, you will get an option where you want to install it
(choose advanced installation). You will likely need to
re-activate your product but as long as you own a legal
copy you've got nothing to worry about. When you run out
of activations call Microsoft they will help to activate
it then. Dont't re-install at night -> they won't pick up
the phone ;-)
