uninstall / reinstall on new computer

Perhaps your Proj98 was an upgrade from a previous
version. In that case, you would have to install the
original version, then install all the upgrades in series.

I know your pain. Been there, done that. Kinda makes
buying upgrades not worth the savings over simply buying
full versions.
