uninstall/repair office xp

I get "Out of Disk space - - Volume "D":required space: 85440km: available
space:0 Free some disk space and try again" The problem is the "D" drive is
a CDROM. I can't free space. My hard drive was originally a second drive
labelled "D" but I changed it some time ago. Now I can't repair, or
uninstall office XP.
