Uninstall Trial version of Microsoft office 2007

I am having major issues un installing this ytrial version. We have been
having alot of problems with our computer since the trial version I
downloaded.
When I went on to the main system to remove the trial version it would not
let me un install. A pop up keeps saying
"Can't find language DLL msain900.dll"
I want to remove the Miscrosoft office 2007 trial version, without wiping
out all oof my other older miscrosoft versions. I would GREATLY appreciate
help. I have tryed all of the "Cleanner or sweepers" to try to get this off
my computer. and they say cant find language.

sorry - that (KB928218) just doesn;t work for me. The uninistall of the MSI
via installer does not complete. just as the uninstall frm programs/faetures
did not work

Is there really no guaranteed fix for this? It is a real nuisance

That 'is' the MS fix for uninstalling
If its not working for you, detail exactly where it is failing. (you are
logged on as Administrator?)

Well I was not logged in as "administrator". I was logged in as a user with
administrators rights. I got prompts for confirmation each time i want t do
an admin task. is that OK?

The symptoms are:
- i tried programs/features uninstall and got the classic "language not
supported" message
- i tried the uninstall via the msi in installer. also fails
- i tried office cleanup and then back to programs/features. still get
"language not supported" and it doesn;t uninstall.
- i tried the alternative steps in that KB article. including all the
registry deletes. still same problem

What I did notice is that Vista SP1 was not loaded (it's my daughter's
laptop) - when that completes (and any hotfixes) I will have another go

If you mean the MS Installer clean up tool you will note a comment there
about not using with Office 2007

If Vista sp1 is not installing it generally means that there is an
unsuported driver, or one that needs an update.
Visit the laptop manufacturers site for any updates required

I am SO HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. When I try to uninstall this trial
version, I press the uninstall button and NOTHING happens after the
"Allow This to Continue" thing. Does anybody have a simple solution
here...anybody?

I had a problems uninstalling Ultimate 2007 also. I have Win XP. Use
the Add/Remove. But looking at c:/ some of it was still installed bu
it was no longer on Add/Remove. I tried reverting back to an earlie
date on the hard drive but using the old Office 2003 gave error msg tha
some files had different versions and it would not operate
So I undid the revert hard drive and tried to delete the 2007 prog fro
my c:/ but Groove was 'was being used' and could not be deleted.
tried to start groove.exe so I could turn off its settings but then m
computer started wanting to 'send an error report'. I kept hittin
'don't send' but the box kept reappearing faster then I could click it
I got mad and pressed the computer power off
WHEN I REBOOTED, I HAVE THE BLUE SCREEN. I rebooted several times
always hear the music but don't even have a blinking cursor on th
screen, totally blank but glowing.
I finally gave up and to it to a computer repair shop. Haven't hear
anything back from them
