uninstall word

Hi,
I have tried everything, now i would like to know how to uninstall Word from
my computer manually. It doesn't work using the uninstall software utility
in XP. My computer just seems to hang.

Can someone give me any help in uninstalling Word. Even the whole of Office
would be OK. I have XP home with Office 2003 installed. There is also an
older version of Office (2000) that I don't have the disks for but when I
try to uninstall it I get the messages asking for the Office 2000 disks. How
can I get rid of this one too?
