Hi,
I recently removed my trial edition of Office 2007 and re-installed Office
2003 (I prefer 2003!). Ever since I did this I have had problems with my PC -
with Outlook, Exchange Server etc.
In Outlook whenever it tries to 'send and receive' I get an error message
reading "reported error (0x8004005): Operation failed". Does anybody know how
I can correct this? I have tried re-installing Office but I get the same
problem.
I also cannot use 'Reply to All' as I get an error saying "The messaging
interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart
Outlook." Again, this problem is still there if I reinstall Office/Outlook.
I am constantly getting messages saying that I cannot retrieve files on the
server due to insufficient system resources. Only if have a few open windows
does my PC allow me to access the exchange server. I have only had this
problem since removing the trial edition of Office 2007.
Please help!
Thanks in advance,
Alex
