Uninstalling Access only

Kiavik

Hello!

I have an Office 2000 installation on several machines on my network, many
of them don't need access anymore and I would like to remove it. I need to
do this in an unattended way via script because the machines are too many
and too far away to do it one by one.

I have tried to create an MST using the Custom installation wizard from the
Office Resource Kit with all the components except Access but it doesn't
work...

How can I remove Access unattendly?

thanks

Once Office is installed (with or without a transform) you cannot use
a transform to "modify" the existing installation. If you wanted to
use the new transform you would have to uninstall Office first and
then do a new installation with the transform.

The good news is that the Custom Maintenance Wizard allows you to
modify an existing installation. Please see the following article for
details.

Hope this helps.

Yep it does! It's what I was looking for.

Thanks!
