Uninstalling MS Office 2003 BETA

B

Beverly

Hello, My Office 2003 beta has expired so I'm trying to
uninstall it. I can not uninstall because I get the
following errors:

Windows installer terminated prematurely

2nd window error:

the I/O operation has been aborted because of either a
thread exit or an application request

That's as far as I can get. I tried several times and
that's all I can get.

Please Help! I can't get into my email and I work from
home so it's very important that I be able to get mail.

Thank you for your time,
Beverly

Hi Beverly,

You may want to phone MS Product Support. While there
was no support for using the Office 2003 Beta my understanding
is that you can get no-cost help for uninstalling it
when it expires. In the U.S.: (425) 454-2030

Hi there, I have the same problem, in removing the Office 2003 Beta I get the error message
the I/O operation has been aborted because of either a
thread exit or an application reques
But this only happens when I try to remove Publisher, before or after I have removed Office
The problem seems to be related with removing Publisher, the removal of Office runs smooth.
I am far away from USA, any suggestions
Yours truly
Miguel, running XP pro and trying to remove Office 2003 Beta without HD formatting.
