Uninstalling MS Office 2003 - Pro vs Standard

I'm trying to free up some space on an old laptop, so I went through and have
been uninstalling old, unused programs. I see that I have a copy of MS
Office 2003 Professional Edition, and a copy of MS Office 2003 Standard
Edition.

This is probably a dumb question, but can I uninstall the Standard version,
and my Professional version will still be okay? Or does the Professional
version run on top of the Standard version?

Assuming you installed Pro over Std, all that would have happened was pro
would have installed only components not included in Std
The size, as shown in Add/remove is innacurate
Presumably you've run Disk Cleanup, adjusted IE temp files, in IE options to
no more than 50mb, maybe removed some the win update installation files.
And if after all that you have less than +15% free disk space, then time for
a new hd
