Uninstalling office 2000 sr-1

I am trying to uninstall office 2000 sr-1. I do not have
the original cd that came with the computer. Everytime i
use add/remove programs it asks for the cd. I've tried the
eraser2k program from microsoft and the office clean up
program but I have had no luck!!!!

PLease help, I cannot get this program off my computer!!

Looks like we made the same mistake. I'm trying to figure out how to get
this POS program off of my computer as well... we've lost the original cd
and now it appears we are just screwed. I've seen lots of posts asking for
assistance on this but haven't found anything that actually works... and
MS's 'support' pages are about worthless as well. Why on earth do they
require the cd to REMOVE the program from the system anyway? I've always
enjoyed using MS's products but after they pull this crap I'm going to think
long and hard before I install another one of their programs on one of my
machines. It appears the only way to remove the program without the cd is to
just reformat the drive... hmm, sounds just like a virus to me, only I paid
for this one.
