Uninstalling Office 2000 update

I downloaded an update to Office 2000 on my computer but
at the end it said to insert the CD disk for Office 2000
which I cannot find. Now I cannot get into any of my
Excel documents without finishing the update with my
disk. I want to just get rid of the update until I find
my disk. Anyone know how to do this?
