Uninstalling Office 2000

Barbara

Hi, I hope somone can help me so I don't have to give
Bill Gates more of my money. :^) I bought a new computer
and had to uninstall Office 2000 from the old one. It
seemed to work fine, but now when it boots up, I get an
explorer error message and then no menus or anything,
just the desktop wallpaper. Does anyone know how I can
fix that or get to a menu that will allow me to reinstall
Windows 98 or reformat the hard disk? I want to sell the
computer but don't want to sell it if it's not even
booting up to the OS. Also, my Windows 98 start-up disk
isn't working, so I'm not sure how to use it for
something like this. Thanks. Feel free to e-mail me off-
list if you can help.

This appears to be more of an OS issue than Office.
