Uninstalling Office 2002 Programs

Is it possible to uninstall Outlook? I've been told I
need to do this before reinstalling as I've been
diagnosed with a corrupted file. I'm not sure how to do
this. If uninstalling a single program is not possible,
is there a way to get the install program to overwrite
all the existing files? Thanks

Insert the CD for Outlook (or Office), and one of the options will be to
un-install it. I don't exactly remember the nomemclature (I don't do
this very often, of course!) but my recollection is that you "un-check"
Outlook as an installed component of Ofice.

If you have Outlook Standalone CD, then it will proabably be clearer how
to un-install.
