uninstalling Office 2003 and reinstalling

I have Student Office 2003 which allows me to install it on 3 computers. I
currently have it on all 3 computers, but want to uninstall it on one
computer so that I can use 2007 instead (just on one computer). If I
uninstall it, I don't want to lose that 3rd license because I may actually
want to put it on an older computer someday. Will I automatically lose the
3rd license if I uninstall it? How do I make sure that if I uninstall it, I
can re-install it at a later date on a different computer without losing one
license? When I put the disk in, there is no option to uninstall...only to
install. Is this info somehow recorded on the installation disk so it knows
whether to allow it or not? If I go to Add/Remove in order to uninstall, then
no changes would be made on my disk. I need help in understanding this.

There is no deactivate option. This is one reason why telephone activation
exisits.

The licence is for 3 PC's that are in use, you can reinstall as often as you
like provided its not in use on more than 3 PC's

I have done this and there has not been a problem. The information is not
recorded on the installation disk, but rather on the activation server. If
you upgrade one computer to Office 2007, stop using Office 2003, and wait a
while before trying to install Office 2003 on another computer, you probably
won't even have to call phone activation. If you tried to do this
immediately, you might have to call and explain what you are doing.
