Uninstalling Office Professional 2003

I am now living with my partner and share his computer. I have a student
version of Microsoft Office Professional installed in my own computer, which
we want to sell. Some of my partner's files have become corrupted, so can I
uninstall Office Professional 2003 from my computer and install it into my
partner's computer?

Providing it is a Retail version. If it is a OEM version then it is tied to that computer that it is now installed on

Hi Peter,

Thank you for your help.

My computer had the Home Edition of Word already installed in it, when I
bought it, which I found too constricting as I'm a Secretary by trade. So I
went and bought myself a student version of Microsoft Office Professional
2003 (XP), uninstalled the Home Edition and installed the new one. At that
time I was attending IT classes, so could be classed as a student! So I
assume that this means mine is a retail version and I can uninstall it from
mine and install it on to my partners? In addition, I also have the disk(s)
for the Home Edition, so I will probably put that back on my computer before
I sell it.
