Uninstalling Previous version of Office 2000

I want to uninstall a previous version of Office 2000 in
order to Install a newer version of Office 2000. When I
attempt to use the Add/Remove Programs I receive the
following message "Insert 'Microsoft Office SR-1
Professional Disk'and click OK" message. I don't have this
disk. There has to be a way of purging Office 2000 from my
computer in order to install a new version.

There is only one version of O2K, you can either update or add functionality
ie standard to premium. You may need origonal installation disks.
There is no need to uninstall to accomplish either of these tasks.
What exactly are you trying to do?

I have the same problem. I don't have the CD's for Office 2000 and want to
uninstall 2000 Office all together and use MS Works Suite. So how do I
uninstall MS Office 2000 without the CD's?
