Uninstalling Project Server 2007 uninstalled Sharepoint Services 3

I was having problems with Project Server 2007 so I uninstalled it. It
appears to have uninstalled Sharepoint 3.0 - at least, just the files. The
databases seem to still be there. I new that after uninstalling PS, I needed
to run the Sharepoint Products and Technologies wizard. When I went to do
that, it was located on my server. I went searching through the folders and
I don't think the Sharepoint files are there anymore. Nothing is in IIS.

I'm hesitant to reinstall and screw up my SQL Server databases without
knowing what I'm doing, or what happened.

Any help????

If you have data in those databases that you want to keep I would take a copy
of them. However, remember when you create the new PS instances you can
manually edit the DB names - can't remember what happens to the sharepoint
ones though.
