I'm trying to free up space on my PowerBook G4 and, since I'm not using PowerPoint at all at this time, would like to remove it. Does anyone know if there is a way to simply remove just one component of Office?

It is not advised. It can interfere with future updates. There are probably
other larger files that would free up a lot more space. Individual
applications are pretty small. PP is 39.2 MB.

Download What Size and it will find the large files on your drive. There are
several links at the bottom of this page to help free up drive space.
