Unique Visitor Hit Counter

I have a custom hit counter on my site (using FP2003), which works great!
Though I only want new visitor hits. I have googled for the script, but can't
find anything. Does anyone know what the script is for the unigue visitor
option?

The FP hit counter will not do what you are asking.
You need to find a third party hit counter that does (Google), or see what
type of stats your host can provide.
