United States map editable by Word

Hello:

I'm looking for a simple line drawing (black lines on a white background) of
the United States that is downloadable, free, and is editable using the
drawing toolbar in Microsoft Word. I want to be able to select individual
states and fill them with colors of my choice.

I have searched the Microsoft clipart files and have searched extensively on
the Internet, but haven't been able to find anything that is FREE (key
word.)

I simply CAN'T be the first one who has a need for this... Can anyone offer
a website where I might download what I'm looking for?

Well, you could try this: go to maps.google.com, let the full
continent map come up, click on the "terrain" button, then do a screen
dump. Word (or Office in general) is NOT, NOT!!!! what you want to use
to do image editing. But even in Word or ppt, I think you can change
the white (which is the state boundary coloring) to black, then fill
every state with white, or whatever color you want.

This will be way easier if you download GraphicConverter.

There's one in the MS ClipArt Gallery online - search for: USA Map. It's
already multi-colored but once inserted in a doc you can Control-Click it,
select Edit Picture, then make whatever changes you wish, including the Fill
for any state to white & Line to black. Only problem is it doesn't include
AK , HI or any possessions.

Click on image and ungroup, you can ungroup to the state fill level.
