I have situation (on different plans) where the peak units displayed is
extremely high (e.g. 98,100%, 1300%) and would like to understand how or what
is being calculated, as what I would assum to see is not what is displayed.
Work contours are set as Flat and we are using Project 2007 and Server 2007.
Resources enter time via My Tasks in PWA.
Example: A Resource whose working time is 8h/day and enters the following
work and the PM accepts the time:
8.55h 7.27h 7.27h 7.27h 7.27h 7.27h 7.27h 6h 7.27h 3.27h
I would expect to see the peak units at 107% for day 1 being his peak entry
but the Gantt display 98,100% and in the Task Entry form it is also
displaying 98,100%. This is the only work that he entered for this time
period and he was not assigned to other tasks.
Any insight you can provide to how this is being calculated is greatly
appreciated.
Thank you,
