Units of measurement

Hi,

I want to only use metric units in my Visio diagrams. However, I have some
boxes with a height of "0.2 in". When I manually try and enter the
equivalent "5.08 mm", the entry jumps back to "0.2 in". If I try something
wildly different, like "15.5 mm" it does the same.

Is there any way to force all measurements into metric?

Thanks,
Alain

You can change the system of units for a page under File > Page Setup > Page
Properties.

However, most shapes are designed to be US units or designed to be Metric.
Visio has stencils for each system of units, so you may need to close your
stencils and open the Metric equivalents.

Thanks for that comment. I checked under my installation and only the Metric
units (Add-ons and Solutions) are installed. All my page properties are also
set to Metric. However, when I check the size of some of my objects, the
units are frequently mixed - the Width might say "58.56 mm", but the height
says "0.2 in"! Other similar objects on the same page might use all metric
units.

Wierd...
