Unknown error 16002

Just got an E-mail and tried to delete. Got the following error msg: The
Action could not be completed. An unknown error (16002) occurred.²
Everything else appears to be working correctly...what¹s 16002 and how do I
delete this E-mail? Many thanks.

Messages that won¹t delete can be a sign of database corruption. How to
rebuild:
