Entourage was working fine until a couple of weeks ago, i have never in the last couple of years then all of a sudden i got this message and now it won't connect to my mail accounts - i also have a POP account.

Mac mail still connects to both accounts and i have no problem with accessing the internet.

Any ideas ???

I seem to have stumbled on to the solution. I turned off Norton Firewall Location Awareness, Connection Blocking and Application Blocking, but I left on the 3 Advanced Settings. When this was done Entourage works OK. I turned on the Firewall settings in the Security Preferencs.
The Security Preference Firewall was previously off and the Norton Firewall was on and my Entourage worked before AM 11/18/09. I see that Norton sent down a product update PM of 11/18/09. Could this update have caused a problem after my mac was restarted AM 11/18/09? There has been a great deal of discussion regarding this problem on the Apple discussions forum on the apple .com web site. If you are not already using this site I highly recommend it as it has a lot of Apple/Mac info. If you do not use Norton I have not found any other solutiions.

Bil you are a genius. Everything was off EXCEPT Connection blocking.
When I turned that off, and fired up Entourage, it worked immediately.
