Unknown error

When trying to get to People and Groupls I am getting an unknown
error. Actually, when I try to do anything on the home page I am
getting an unknown error. Can someone suggest any help?

Do you have any event log errors or queue errors?
Based on your descriptions we are not able to help. We need a little more
information. What works what doesnt work etc.
