Unlinked Subreport Doesn't Show in Print or Export

Hi all,

I have a report with an unlinked subreport (statistical data pulled from a
totally separate temp table which is created on the fly via VB
calculations - no relationship - no way to link). This subreport is in the
Report Header section, as I want the info displayed on the first page of the
report - somewhat like a cover sheet.

Print Preview shows the subreport perfectly - but when I print it or export
it to a snapshot, the subreport is not visible. After playing with this for
a bit, I found that if I remove and reinsert the subreport I can export or
print it, but as soon as I save or close the report the problem returns.

If I'm chasing my tail as this will never work, does anyone know of a way to
take both reports as separate entities and combine them into a single
snapshot or pdf file - sort of a concatenation, if you will? Management
wants a single report weekly, not one for statistics and another for
individual record timeline data.

TIA,

Susan
