Unlinking Paragraphs

I am having a very tough time dealing with OneNote's "paragraphs".

OneNote allows you to combine lines of ink into paragraphs, but when it
decides that two of your lines are in the same paragraph, how can you
separate them?

It works the same as with typed text: Select with the mouse, then drag out
to form another note container. Or you can usethe insertion point to
insert a line break.
