Word was working fine until yesterday. I attached a
document I have written in word version as a "reply" to
an e/mail McIntosh sender, and Mc Afee detected a virus
found within my document before sending it. However, I
have a live update for potential viruses and run it on a
regular basis, and a firewall, but did not detect that
virus in any of my documents. Result is: I can no longer
create document in Word nor in any other windows program.
The e-mail of the sender went automatically under draft
version, but I could not open it. I found my word version
locked for edition. I did uninstall Windows XP, installed
it again, and restarted my computer. However, the wizard
window has been activated and has not detected the
installation, asking me to connect to the internet for
activation. still cannot create any new document.
Impossible to write anything. What should I do ?
