Unmatched Files AFTER publishing

Using FP2003, I noticed that even after I publish my files successfully
(local to remote) when I do View | Remote Web Site and compare the local
files side by side with the remote folders,. several of my local files and /
or several remote files have an "Unmatched" status next to them.

I am curious why this happens after a fresh publish, since I would have
thought that FP would copy the local files to the remote PC, thus ensuring
both copies are identical.

Any ideas?

Does your host store any files within your site, such as your stats, etc.?

No, all log / mail folders are outside the folder which contains all the web
files.

That is good.

Contact you host and have them run a check on the extensions and/or check the permissions for your
account.
