Unread calendar item being reported in error

Outlook 2002, SP3. Exchange server 2000 with post SP3 rollup
Calendar shows 1 unread item and it won't go away.
I've tried:
- Sort by category table view, and it shows all items as read.
- Tried right click and Mark all as Read, no change.
- Advance search on unread items in that folder came back with nothing.
- Made a backup and then deleted ALL my calendar items. All searches say I
have 0 items, yet it still reports 1 unread items.
- I copied the calendar to my inbox and the copy shows 0 items, 0 unread.
Imported the copy into my calendar again, still shows 1 unread.
