Unread email bug

After installation of Outlook 2003 my Windows XP opening
screen kept saying "There is 1 unread message", although
I deleted all inbox messages in Outlook Express and in
Outlook 2003. Is this a bug?

Hi peter,
please follow the instruction to solve this problem
Close Outlook
STRART|RUN|REGEDIT
go to the key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail\
On the right side there is a DWORD name "MessageExpiryDays". Doubleclick on
it and change the value from 1 to 0.
After this close the registry and Start Outlook again.
