Unread items in calendar, Outlook 2003/Exchange

P

pickeps

My calendar shows 2 unread items, but there are no unread items. I go to
category view and page down and there are no bolded items. I also tried
clicking on the calendar folder and selected "mark all items read". No luck.
I also clicked on each category and selected "mark all as read". No Luck. I
think this has something to do with clicking on appointments sent from
Outlook 2000 in icalendar format. But, when I delete the items, the unread
counter does not change.

Right click on the calendar and select Advanced Find. Change the type of
item to any Outlook item, and set your search criteria for Unread Items.

No luck with advanced find. I even copied the calendar to a .pst file and
deleted everyting from the calendar. No entries of any kind. It still showed
2 items unread

Create a view that shows all unread items or use a table view and browse the
list.. or just right click on it an choose Mark as Read. It's most likely a
meeting request BTW.

Did that already. No items to show in that view. Also, remember that I have
already deleted everything from the calendar and it still shows 2 items
unread. Something is screwed up in the code.

If you right click on it and choose mark as read, does it go away? How did
you copy it? What view did you use to delete the items?

Did you try one of the reset switches?
